We primarily use Avanan as a email security tool. One of the major challenges that we were facing earlier was the inflow of many malicious emails. The default security provided by the email tool was not enough and moreover there was no restriction in sharing these emails internally. With the introduction of Avanan drilling down into important summary statistics became that much more easy with its slide down menus.

Since we had a small BU with different domains, those working remotely with Covid in place and teams using various collaboration tools from different locations were a significant threat to us and the organization within. We thought of hosting these new emails on Avanan as it was helping us to stop threats even before they could hit the inboxes of these users. This turned out to be a great solution for us and the team. Also, the team is satisfied. The API-based ecosystem is robust and is backed by strong checkpoints within the security domain.

I have used Avanan basic plan as a single user within my organization. So basically I used Avanan to secure my emails and Office 365 collaboration. Avanan maintains good security measures with multiple checkpoints to detect most harmful threats such as phishing, hijacking and ransomware programs. I think Avanan is user friendly as we can simply standardize our security across the organization using a single dashboard view.

Avanan is a cloud-based anti-phishing and anti-spam application that helps users handle threats. The UI is very simple and the majority of tasks can be completed without having to leave the Avanan interface. G Suite is also easily integrated with the product. This program has saved us a lot of time in terms of tracking down spam/phishing emails, attempting to prevent them, and responding to enquiries about them.

During my work, Avanan found and removed each and every malware threat from my system. As the engine is cloud-based, all analytics run on the cloud server and do not use any processing on our devices. It caused virtually no impact on any of my Windows and Mac laptops, even during intensive scans of the entire drive.

Avanan made us identify and correct the malware available, which would spoil the entire business operations. Further, Avanan has a management tool, that coordinates the threat detectors and other security procedures. The anti-spam is another feature present through Avanan. Finally, Avanan understands the danger of data leakage and eliminates the chances of loss from privacy exposure.

Avanan best e-mail defense on the market
Avanan is being used as an advance anti-phish mechanism. It is currently doing inline protection on all mailboxes in the organization. It's anti-phish scanning and learning is top notch. Also it empowers an organization to quickly act if a phishing email makes it through. Its learning component is also very well done so that the same items don't get caught again.

Trust in Avanan for Anti-Phishing Peace of Mind
Avanan removes phishing emails from ever getting to your users. I was skeptical until we installed it. My users were getting many phishing attempts per day. Configuring Avanan stopped that completely.

Effective protection, transparent reporting
Avanan is a good security tool, useful to protect both from external and internal attacks; only few solution on the market can work in this way. It's invisible, is easily deployed, and allows full protection also on mainstream applications like MS 365. Our security now is really better than ever.

- Spam filter is good, and only in a few cases makes wrong decisions

Avanan is a great solution and recommend to anyone looking to beef up their email security and are lacking a strong email security solution. I like to call this "low hanging fruit" because it is extremely important to make sure you have a creditable yet effective solution in place to protect your employees from malware and phish attacks, especially in the world we live in today where ransomware is really evolving and becoming more creative to extort businesses. Avanan is a solution that will better protect your organization from these threats while also having a peace of mind and doesn't break the bank.

Excellent tool for any company
Avanan is being used by our whole organization. We were having some concerns on how Microsoft was missing on few of the emails and passing them through. Avanan was super easy to setup and started to block emails that Microsoft missed. Along with monitoring phishing emails, Avanan also monitors Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox and also Sharepoint.

Avanan: easy, simple, effective
We currently use Avanan across the whole organization. We use it for protecting our emails in terms of phishing primarily, but also for monitoring and protecting Sharepoint/Onedrive.
We recently deployed the tool in a partner company that is currently using Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). In that case, we implemented the tool for filtering emails and monitoring Google Drive.

Avanan has been a great tool for our success.
Avanan is being used company-wide for us. It is our main application to detect and block malicious emails containing spam, phishing, malware, and executive impersonation attempts. We also utilize it to verify if one of our accounts has been successfully logged in from outside the US as well as an engine for DLP events to make sure communications and sensitive information is being sent and received securely.
- Anti-phishing, Avanan does a very good job catching phishing events on a daily basis. I check the dashboard everyday and see it catch some very suspicious emails.
- Malware, Avanan is very good at catching possible malware content within emails and is proactive in the sense that it quarantines those emails and alerts us the administrators about it.
- Avanan does a great job at catching DLP events. It has definitely helped us be more secure after seeing how much sensitive data was going through our network prior to having Avanan.
- Avanan is very good at bringing in more tools that may help us. It is constantly testing out the best applications that would give us as a customer an edge in security.
- The only thing that I would want to see in Avanan that it currently doesn't have to my knowledge is the ability to pull emails from our user mailboxes in the event that a suspicious email did make it through. We can quarantine them though so not a huge deal but it would be nice to have that functionality.
